I am sure a lot of you are curious about the Alchemy artist fund raiser. It is a pretty simple idea that we hope generates radical inclusion and pARTicipation!

We are taking a door donation of $10. In exchange for your $10, you will get 2 "art shares" which will act like votes. You can also purchase more art shares, if you wish, for $5 a piece.

As you walk around, you will get the chance to see some of the artists in our community and get to view some samplings of their work in the gallery areas. In addition, artists who are interested in building installations at Alchemy will be there, to share their ideas and needs with those who attend the party. You will get a chance to see their ideas, talk to them and find out what their inspirations were or how they came up with their ideals.

If you like their idea, remember their artist number. There will be a mailbox system set up for each artist. If you like one, put the amount of art shares you wish to gift them into their particularly numbered box.

At the end of the night, all art shares will be counted out and the money taken in will be immediately gifted to each artist for building their installation to bring to Alchemy.

We have DJ's spinning, fire art and dancers, the theater will have Burning Man movies playing during the party. We are also going to be setting up a giant canvas for anyone who wishes to toss their art on for our Alchemy Welcome Home sign. We are also planning a bake sale to also help raise money for our artists' installations.

This is a family friendly event.

Artists interested in submitting their information for inclusion to the fund raiser need to get their submissions in by June1!

Artists interested in displaying their work, let us know who you are and what you are bringing to display.

Whether you are an artist building an installation, an artist displaying in the gallery or someone who wants to support those who gift their art to the community, come play with us!
